Pursue Joy!

Joy is not automatic, it’s something you have to predetermine. It’s much different than happiness—happiness is based on “happenings.” It’s emotional and fleeting, while joy can remain stable even in challenging situations.

Joy is one of the fruits of the Spirit and if you are filled with the Spirit, then it is already down on the inside of you—you just have to dig for it, pursue it!

Joy does not look at the temporary situation and react. Instead, it looks to the future in faith!

When you abide (remain, dwell, rest) with God, He fills you with love, and then you are full of His joy—complete, and overflowing! (Read John 15:10-11 AMPC)

When you trust God and believe His Word…then you can have JOY right in the middle of any situation!
