When I’m feeling pain, or hopelessness, or disappointed that something hasn’t happened yet, I have learned to lean into God.
What does that mean to lean into Him? It’s putting your complete and total trust in God!
Psalm 62:8 says, “Trust in, lean on, rely on, and have confidence in Him at all times…pour out your hearts before Him. God is a refuge for us.”
Things to do to help you come out of that place of pain or disappointment:
1. Get away from all the distractions, get in a quiet place. 2. Put worship music on.
3. Open your Bible up and read the Psalms.
4. Lean into God. This is not the time to call a friend and vent.
Psalms 69:32 “You who seek God, inquiring for and requiring Him (as your first need), let your hearts revive and live!”
Don’t go through this alone, lean into Him!
